talkington wrote the screenplay for "valley girl," a reimagining of the classic 80s movie. this version is a jukebox musical using all pop songs from the 80s to tell the 'romeo and juliet' story of a valley girl and a punk from hollywood. the film stars up-and-comers jessica rothe ("happy death day", "lala land") and joshua whitehouse ("poldark", "daisy jones and the six"). with an incredible supporting cast including mae whitman, rob huebel, judy greer, logal paul, jessie ennis, chloe bennett, ashleigh murray, tom lennon, randall park and alicia silverstone.
